Our lambs have lived out the majority of lives free-range on pasture with their mothers - where they have been able to forage for their own food. For the majority of their growing lives, they have been fed no grain and they've participated in our planned rotational grazing system, where they've been able to benefit and regenerate the land rather than cause the landscape any harm.
Grass-fed lamb takes careful planning and management. They do grow slower on pasture than in a confined system, but we believe that they belong on grass, and the extra time and effort is worth it - we gain delicious nutrient dense meat, increased soil health and productivity, never mind happy lambs who can live free on pasture, able to follow their natural instincts.
